How to find meaning in the age of AI.
SEEK/FIND x POWRPLNT
Lighthouse Campus Brooklyn
In the age of AI, finding a sense of purpose and identity can feel more nebulous than ever. The creative industry has been completely disrupted, and creatives, communities, and companies aren’t sure how to move forward. This event will served as a way to come together, rediscover a sense of curiosity, and create community.
Two short films by Tabitha Swanson were screened, “Everything is quietly becoming an echo.” and “The antidote to fear is curiosity.” Both are meta-philosophical films trying to work out the meaning of life in the age of AI.
Following was presentation about AI, technology theory, concepts of Buddhism, the ego, control, identity, and what we can do about it; a journaling exercise; and a group discussion.
